Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, half Spanish. The parents of her include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descent is also her mother. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. She was the first born of a household of six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy explained that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to pursue a degree in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
