Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Before she learned to write and read, she was making up her own songs. Her first guitar was given to her at the age of eighteen. She began singing in an Knoxville Tenn station by the age of 11. That same year, she released her debut album on Gold Band Records an independent small label. In high school she established herself local, but longed for having a bigger stage. She moved to Nashville following her graduation in 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show needed the services of a new singer by this point. Parton was signed to RCA Records and then joined the Grand Ole Opry. She took on the role in 1967. Parton left the show but in 1974, because her solo albums such as Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations. Parton recorded I Will Always Love You for Wagoner following their split. It reached number one. In 1974, the song by Parton"I Will Never Love You climbed to No.
