Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able to direct, act production, create plays teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her productions as a young girl and observing her mother doing her job. As a child, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to further her acting career. After that, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got weddings in the month of December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows in the Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list.
